1. INTRODUCTION
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all purchases, subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, and payments made in connection with the use of SutraLipi ("Platform"), owned and operated by TechRhombus ("TechRhombus", "we", "our", or "us").
By purchasing a Subscription, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. DIGITAL SERVICES
SutraLipi provides access to digital products and services, including:
- Strategy development tools
- Backtesting functionality
- Historical market data access
- Tick-level data access
- Market replay functionality
- Paper trading functionality
- Live trading functionality
- Broker integrations
- Platform features and services
- Subscription-based access to Platform resources
Because these services are digital in nature and become accessible immediately upon activation, special refund rules apply.
3. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
The Platform currently offers:
- Monthly Subscription Plans
- Annual Subscription Plans
- Other plans that may be introduced from time to time
Plan details, pricing, and features are displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase.
4. PAYMENT PROCESSING
Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment processors, including Razorpay.
By making a purchase, Users agree to comply with the applicable terms and conditions of the payment provider.
TechRhombus does not control payment processing systems and shall not be responsible for payment provider errors, delays, interruptions, or failures.
5. NO REFUND POLICY
5.1 General Rule
All Subscription purchases are final.
Except where required by applicable law, all fees paid to TechRhombus are:
- Non-refundable
- Non-transferable
- Non-creditable
5.2 Immediate Access to Digital Services
Users acknowledge that access to Platform services is generally granted immediately upon successful payment.
Because digital services, historical market data access, platform functionality, analytical tools, and related resources become available immediately after activation, Users agree that they waive any right to refunds except where required by applicable law.
5.3 Partial Usage
No refunds shall be issued based on:
- Partial usage
- Limited usage
- Infrequent usage
- Non-usage
- User inactivity
- Failure to utilize available Platform features
5.4 User Dissatisfaction
Refunds shall not be granted because a User:
- Changes their mind
- No longer requires the service
- Finds the Platform unsuitable
- Experiences a learning curve
- Is dissatisfied with trading outcomes
- Experiences strategy losses
- Fails to achieve expected results
6. TRADING LOSSES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE
Users acknowledge that trading and investing involve risk.
Refunds shall not be granted for:
- Trading losses
- Investment losses
- Strategy losses
- Automated trading losses
- Paper trading results
- Backtesting outcomes
- Market conditions
- Financial outcomes of any kind
All trading decisions remain solely the responsibility of the User.
7. TECHNICAL ISSUES
TechRhombus endeavors to maintain Platform availability and performance.
However, temporary technical issues shall not entitle Users to refunds.
Examples include:
- Platform maintenance
- Server maintenance
- Infrastructure upgrades
- Temporary outages
- Performance degradation
- Network interruptions
- Software bugs
- Service interruptions
TechRhombus may, at its sole discretion, provide service credits, extensions, or other remedies where appropriate.
Such remedies shall not create an obligation to issue refunds.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
Refunds shall not be issued for interruptions caused by third parties, including:
- Broker outages
- Exchange outages
- NSE outages
- BSE outages
- API failures
- Data provider interruptions
- Cloud provider downtime
- Payment gateway failures
- Internet service disruptions
- Telecommunications failures
These services operate independently of TechRhombus.
9. FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS
Refunds shall not be provided for interruptions or service limitations caused by events beyond the reasonable control of TechRhombus.
Examples include:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Fires
- Earthquakes
- Pandemics
- Government actions
- Regulatory restrictions
- Civil unrest
- Cyberattacks
- DDoS attacks
- Power failures
- Infrastructure failures
- Exchange outages
- Broker outages
10. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
10.1 User-Initiated Cancellation
Users may cancel their Subscription at any time through available Platform functionality or by contacting support.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate a refund.
10.2 Access Until Expiry
Following cancellation, Users shall generally retain access to the Platform until the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise specified.
10.3 No Pro-Rata Refunds
No pro-rata refunds shall be issued for unused portions of a Subscription period.
11. AUTOMATIC RENEWALS
Where automatic renewal functionality is enabled:
- Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of the applicable billing cycle.
- Renewal charges may be processed using the selected payment method.
Users are responsible for cancelling subscriptions prior to renewal if they do not wish to continue service.
12. PRICING CHANGES
TechRhombus reserves the right to modify:
- Subscription pricing
- Plan structures
- Features
- Billing terms
Pricing changes shall generally apply prospectively and shall not create entitlement to refunds for previously purchased subscriptions.
13. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS
If a User is charged multiple times for the same transaction due to:
- Payment gateway errors
- Technical processing errors
- Duplicate transaction processing
TechRhombus may investigate the matter and, where verified, issue an appropriate correction, refund, or adjustment.
This section applies only to duplicate or erroneous charges and not to valid Subscription purchases.
14. FRAUDULENT OR UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS
Users must immediately notify TechRhombus if they believe a payment was made fraudulently or without authorization.
TechRhombus reserves the right to:
- Investigate the matter
- Request supporting documentation
- Cooperate with payment processors
- Cooperate with financial institutions
- Cooperate with law enforcement authorities where necessary
15. CHARGEBACKS
If a User initiates a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal, TechRhombus reserves the right to:
- Suspend the User Account
- Restrict Platform access
- Terminate subscriptions
- Recover outstanding amounts
- Contest the chargeback where appropriate
16. EXCEPTIONS REQUIRED BY LAW
Nothing in this Policy shall limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Where applicable law requires a refund or remedy, TechRhombus shall comply with such legal requirements.
17. POLICY CHANGES
TechRhombus reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

By purchasing, subscribing to, renewing, or otherwise using paid services offered through SutraLipi, the User acknowledges and agrees that:
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
- Digital services become available immediately upon activation.
- Trading losses do not qualify for refunds.
- Technical interruptions do not automatically entitle Users to refunds.
- Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not generate refunds.
- The User has read and understood this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
